ORAU’s Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity

As an added bonus, the ORAU Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity is on display in the hallways and lobby of the Pollard Center and can be viewed during activities and events for no additional charge when using the facility. Paul Frame, Ph.D., retired ORAU health physicist and former director of ORAU’s Professional Training Programs, is the curator of ORAU’s Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity. This collection chronicles the scientific and commercial history of radioactivity and radiation. It has been deemed the official repository for historical radiological instruments by the Health Physics Society, and the Society has been generous in its financial support for the purchase of items. ORAU maintains and manages the collection and has supported Paul Frame curating these items through the years.
